The Profile Section of a Resume:
The profile section of a resume should contain your skills, experience, knowledge and education, starting off usually with your years of relevant experience and filled with relevant keywords about what you can bring to the table as a new employee.
It should also contain factual statements on how best you can benefit the company that you’re targeting. Remember; there may be hundreds or even thousands of people targeting the same job as you. What keywords, statements, experience, knowledge and skills give you the upper-hand over everybody else.
There is no point filling the profile section with generic words that are popped into every resume. The difference between getting the job and not getting the job is the difference between you having a crappy resume and a professionally written resume that fulfills all the job requirements and allows the employer, recruitment agency or HR department to be confident in calling you in for an interview.
